Meet some of our staff...

Our consultants and instructors are hand-picked by our owner after being carefully screened and evaluated to assure that he or she has the professional capability, instructional skills, technical knowledge, correct background and the right personality to deliver high quality service to our clients. We fully believe that the right mix of skills is very important to provide the best consultant to the clients.  We are very proud of our team and their skill sets.  Please take a minute to become acquainted with some of our consultants and instructors listed below.

Ritchey

Ritchey Hume (RHume@IT4E.com) has over thirty years experience as an information systems professional. Since beginning as an entry-level programmer in 1974, his responsibilities and experience base have grown steadily through a variety of positions with several employers. He has held management positions in which he has lead projects and supervised other information systems professionals, provided information technology consulting to government and commercial organizations, and delivered high-end technical training to information technology professionals.

Ritchey is a Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (C# and VB.NET), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Microsoft Certified Trainer, fully certified and qualified to plan, implement, maintain, and support information systems with Microsoft Windows 2000/2003, Microsoft Windows NT, Microsoft BackOffice and other Microsoft technologies, as well as to deliver Microsoft courses using the Microsoft Learning Products and our company branded courseware.

Gail Christian (GChristian@IT4E.com) has more than 25 years of software applications project experience, with 13 years of strategic planning, structured systems analysis and design, and 20 years of IT project and personnel management experience. She is currently part of the IT4E Management Team, providing Project Management, QA, and Resource Planning expertise. Gail holds an active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI and has taught PMP sessions that prepare Project Managers to achieve their PMP certification. Away from work, she serves as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for the Michael Dunn Center (MDC) in Roane County, TN. The MDC is a multi-faceted program for children and adults with physical and mental disabilities and serves ~300 Service Recipients.

Project Management Institute

Jerry Christian (JChristian@IT4E.com) has nearly forty years’ experience with information technologies (he “fell in love” with computer programming at the age of seventeen). During his early career Jerry expanded his IT expertise to include database administration and system design. His experience base is derived from varied employers, as he accepted positions with increasing responsibilities pertaining to information systems planning, analysis, and design. He has held management positions, supervising dozens of information technology professionals and managing multiple, concurrent software development projects. Jerry’s passion is assisting clients in identifying and defining their business requirements, designing information technology solutions that directly address those requirements, and managing the development, deployment, and training necessary to accomplish delivery of highly effective information systems.

Chris Douglas (CDouglas@IT4E.com) has 30 years’ experience in the information technology industry. She has served in a variety of roles ranging from programmer to IT Director and has provided services to clients in the government, private sector, and higher education environments. She has managed software implementation projects as well as IT professionals. As a former small business owner, Chris understands the technology needs and challenges of small businesses and has used her experience to assist many clients in meeting their information system requirements. Chris has recently trained in the Microsoft Business Intelligence toolkit. This BI training is a logical addition to her strong data background, and Chris is excited to add it to her repertoire of skills.

Joan Geardino (JGeardino@IT4E.com) has over twenty years’ experience in the information technology industry, primarily in the business management arena. Her career spans operation and sales management with a Fortune 500 company in Omaha, NE where she was responsible for the financial profitability of the branch location and customer relationship management. Subsequent to this employment, Joan continued in the IT environment moving to management of a technical training division. Through her years in working with the Omaha and Lincoln business communities, Joan has developed some very positive relationships for which she has great respect and appreciation.

Eric Hahn (EHahn@IT4E.com) has over 14 years’ sales experience with 8 years in the information technology industry. His career started at a Fortune 500 company in Omaha, NE selling Microsoft Enterprise License Agreements nationally. Eric’s experience has broadened to include information technology consulting services at the enterprise resource planning (ERP) level and technical training sales. IT4E provides an excellent environment to combine his IT consulting and training sales skills.

Travis Isbill (TIsbill@IT4E.com) is an experienced information technology professional with a gift for building solutions that match the needs and goals of his clients. Over the past 10 years, Travis has worked with varied industry clients to define solutions that work within their field. Travis is a Microsoft Certified IT Professional ﴾MCITP﴿-SharePoint Administrator 2010, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)-Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2000, and Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)-Microsoft SQL Server 2000. He uses the skills based on these certifications in addition to providing innovative solutions through custom development in SharePoint 2007 and 2010 with Microsoft Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, and InfoPath. He effectively designs and configures SharePoint Infrastructures, custom InfoPath forms, SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio workflows, event receivers, custom content routers, and a myriad of other solutions.

Technology Specialist

Jeff Meredith (JMeredith@IT4E.com) has over 10 years of experience in design and development of Microsoft technologies. Jeff is both a trainer and consultant, primarily focusing on Microsoft SharePoint technologies. He is proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and all versions of Microsoft SharePoint. He specializes in developing applications utilizing Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft InfoPath forms. In addition to working independently on Microsoft SharePoint application development projects, Jeff spends time working with our clients’ employees individually or in small groups. He helps them to better understand SharePoint and deal with its challenges. He is the lead technical advisor to multiple enterprise companies and government agencies in their implementation and development of applications for Microsoft SharePoint. Additionally, Jeff has spoken at many conferences and user groups over the last few years in order to share his knowledge and gain new friends who share the same passion for technology.

Technology Specialist

Drew Still (DStill@IT4E.com) began his technical sales career with Kaypro Computer Corporation in the mid 80’s as a Territory Sales Representative covering Georgia and Tennessee. This is when he was first exposed to East Tennessee. Over the years, Drew has received a number of sales certifications and awards including being in the top 1% of New Horizons Computer Learning Center’s prestigious level called the “Million Dollar Club”. Drew is a Microsoft Certified Sales Specialist and is known for his honest nature and integrity. With every IT4E engagement, he works hard to make sure that our client’s needs are met to their satisfaction. Drew also stays very busy coordinating meetings and events for both the Knoxville SharePoint User Group and the East Tennessee Business Intelligence User Group. On a personal note, in addition to his work activity, he is an avid fly fisherman. He even teaches fly fishing as part of The University of Tennessee’s non-credit “Personal Development Program”.
